Mango Languages Mobile

It's Mobile Monday! Today, we feature an app for one of our subscription databases.

Mango Languages has an app for iOS devices (iPhone® or iPod touch®) and Android devices. Visit Mango Mobile to download their free app and take your language lessons on the go.

You just need a valid Darling Library login and an account with Mango.

How?

Using your mobile device, go to the Darling Library's Research Databases page with the Mango Languages links. There are two links. Current students, staff, and faculty should click on Mango Languages. Alumni should click on Mango Languages (Access for Alumni) link.

When prompted for a username and password, HIU students, staff, and faculty may enter their hiu.edu email address and password. HIU Alumni must contact the Alumni Office at alumni@hiu.edu or call (714) 879-3901 to get the current alumni account login information.

Mango Languages will then prompt you to either sign in to your existing Mango account or create a new one. This is how Mango Languages keeps track of your progress. Your lesson(s) will be downloaded and if you are already in the middle of a lesson, you can pick up where you left off!

Questions? The Mango Languages Mobile site has a link to Frequently Asked Questions. If you have trouble, contact Mango support or the Darling Library via LibAnswers.
