Have you ever wondered if books have been banned in your area of the country? Check out this map of banned and censored books across the United States.
The Merriam-Webster Collegiate Dictionary was one of the books banned in 2010. This is a good example of why the American Library Association, and librarians in general, support the freedom to read and celebrate Banned Books Week to support that freedom.
