Many libraries are using therapy dogs to bring well being to students during finals week. It may be that other kinds of animals could provide a similar service. Since "Royal" showed up at the library this morning, he has brought a smile to a lot of faces!
We don't know why he crossed the road (but it has been quite windy.) So many questions remain about how he got here but in case you're wondering, the good people of Orange County Animal Care picked Royal up this afternoon and will find him a good home.
The Darling Library has contacted Therapy Dogs International to inquire about their services during finals week. We'll keep you posted.
