New LibGuide: MLA Style

Do you need help creating parenthetical citations or Works Cited pages using MLA style? We now have a LibGuide for that!

Our MLA Style LibGuide provides examples and other information to help you create appropriate citations.
Where is this most amazing LibGuide?

FACULTY: Please feel free to include a link directly to the MLA Style LibGuide in your eCompanion or eCollege course.

Are there LibGuides for style guides other than MLA?

The Home Page for all of our Style Guide LibGuides (APA, MLA, Chicago, Turabian) is  http://libguides.hiu.edu/styleguides.

The Home Page for Style Guides includes:
  • “What is a style guide and why use one?”
  • Call numbers and location information for the style manuals in the HIU Library collection
  • Links to free citation and bibliography tools
  • A Research Timeline Calculator
  • Links to appropriate other helps for the individual style guides
  • Links to the individual LibGuides for APA, MLA, Chicago, Turabian (NOTE: Chicago and Turabian are still under construction)
  • Strategically placed links to Get Help from one of the HIU librarians if additional help is needed using a particular style guide
