Darling Library Wins ISSR Library Award

Last week the Darling Library received a 224 volume set of books from the International Society for Science and Religion. Philosophy and Theology Professor, Dr. Curtis Holtzen and Library Director, Robin Hartman, worked together to apply for this Library Award in early 2010. It is a competitive award limited to 150 libraries worldwide. Preference was given to institutions based on "present capacity, commitment to research and study in science and religion, institutional support for related projects and original and promising plans for scholarly activity related to the Library."

These works will support our courses in Ethics, Christian World View, and upcoming plans to teach Issues in Science and Religion.

The ISSR Library will be shelved as a set and will circulate as other books in the Main collection.
