HIU email account required for IC Login

The Information Commons computers are being converted to a new login system that will require users to enter their HIU email address and password to use them. All students, staff, and faculty have been assigned HIU email accounts. To set up an HIU email account, go to for an easy set up guide. Alumni may also request an account here.

This system provides a higher level of network security, better protects user privacy, and helps the library track usage more accurately.
